Lead Auditor / Investigator – Global Audit & Assurance

About the role

The Lead Auditor / Investigator will join Johnson & Johnson's Global Audit & Assurance (GA&A) team in Shanghai. This senior position drives audit investigations, ensures compliance with regulations, and supports risk‑based decision making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute internal audit investigations, focusing on financial, operational and compliance risks.
• Assess the design and effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with business units to address audit findings and monitor remediation actions.
• Provide advisory services to senior management on risk mitigation and governance.
• Prepare clear, concise audit reports and present results to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Significant experience in internal audit, investigations or related assurance functions.
• Strong understanding of government and industry regulations applicable to the healthcare sector.
• Proven ability to analyze complex data and identify control weaknesses.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence senior leaders.

Required skills

• Audit methodology and risk‑assessment techniques.
• Knowledge of internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO).
• Experience with regulatory compliance standards.
