Kindergarten English Teacher – Beijing

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Kindergarten English Teacher to join our K-12 school in Beijing for the 2026-27 academic year. The successful candidate will teach English to children from K2 to K5, create a nurturing classroom environment, and serve as a homeroom teacher.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging English lessons to kindergarten students (K2‑K5) using age‑appropriate methods.
• Act as homeroom teacher, maintaining a safe, positive and well‑managed classroom.
• Plan lessons, prepare teaching materials, design class activities and develop assessments suitable for young learners.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and fellow teachers to support academic, social and language development.
• Monitor student progress, provide feedback to students, parents and school leadership.
• Participate in school events, meetings and other teaching‑related duties.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• TESOL, TEFL or CELTA certification (preferred) with at least 120 teaching hours.
• Previous experience teaching kindergarten or early‑years learners (preferred).
• Strong communication skills, patience and a caring attitude toward young children.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a teaching team.
