Key Account Sales Manager – Industrial Software

About the role

The Key Account Sales Manager (KA Sales) will lead new client acquisition and deep account management for top‑tier enterprises in China’s electrical digitalisation, industrial design and intelligent manufacturing sectors. Reporting to the SEE China leadership, you will own the full sales cycle, drive revenue against annual targets and support the expansion of ETAP’s industrial software portfolio across Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou.

Key responsibilities

• Target core industries such as new energy, high‑end equipment, power transmission, rail transit and intelligent manufacturing to generate new business opportunities.
• Leverage relationships with listed companies and leading manufacturers to secure projects and long‑term strategic cooperation.
• Conduct market research, analyse competitor strategies (e.g., EPLAN, LiChi) and produce regular industry trend reports.
• Build and maintain a high‑end customer resource pool covering the full SEE software and digital solutions portfolio.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of B2B key‑account sales experience in the industrial sector.
• Prior sales experience with EPLAN, LiChi, AutoCAD, PLM/PDM, industrial CAE or electrical design software.
• Familiarity with client systems in at least one core industry (new energy, high‑end equipment, power transmission, rail transit).
• Proven track record of closing deals with top‑tier enterprises and maintaining high‑quality client resources.

Required skills

• Written and spoken English proficiency for communication with foreign‑invested clients.
• Professional certifications related to industrial software and intelligent manufacturing.
• Stable network of top‑tier customer and channel resources.
• In‑depth experience in targeted vertical industries.
