Key Account Manager – PC & Gas

About the role

The Key Account Manager (KAM) will drive growth and deliver superior service to medium‑sized accounts within an assigned territory, promoting CSA Group’s testing, inspection and certification (TIC) services.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate and manage the sales process, responding promptly to client inquiries and presenting CSA Group solutions.
• Develop and maintain accurate client files and input data into the shared sales database (Centra).
• Prepare cost proposals and quotes using questionnaires and worksheets, then follow up to address client questions.
• Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and create strategies to secure new business.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and internal service teams to support events, marketing materials and customer outreach.
• Research customer accounts, generate leads and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary education and 2‑4 years of sales experience, preferably in the safety certification industry.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals and manage multiple client relationships.
• Strong organization, time‑management and detail‑orientation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Salesforce (preferred) and Workday familiarity.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook (or equivalent CRM application).
• Ability to prepare cost proposals and deliver sales presentations.
