Key Account Manager – QSR & McDonald's

About the role

Döhler, a global producer of natural ingredients for the food, beverage and nutrition sectors, is looking for a Key Account Manager to join its Food Service sales team. The role focuses on managing and growing key quick‑service restaurant (QSR) accounts such as McDonald’s, while also developing additional QSR relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow strategic accounts, ensuring alignment with global corporate guidelines.
• Develop and implement sales initiatives and business unit strategies.
• Build professional relationships with decision‑makers, evaluate customer requirements, and enhance loyalty and value.
• Coordinate activities between local customers and Döhler’s global teams to ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Structure pricing in line with Pricing Desk and Trading Desk guidelines, consulting on local pricing while respecting global cost agreements.
• Achieve sales, turnover and profit targets, and propose corrective actions when needed.
• Lead digital transformation projects, optimize processes, and document business procedures in digital systems.
• Oversee customer projects, track samples, quotations and contract status, and intervene on‑site when required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in key account management within the food service or QSR sector.
• Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical skills to evaluate customer needs and market trends.
• Results‑oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales and profitability goals.
• Comfortable working in a global environment and coordinating cross‑functional teams.
