Junior Professional – Loan and Treasury Back Office

About the role

The New Development Bank is seeking a Junior Professional to join its Loan and Treasury Back Office at the headquarters in Shanghai. The role supports the Finance, Budget and Accounting unit by managing daily loan and treasury data, ensuring accurate processing of disbursements, debt servicing and settlements.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update data models, dashboards and reports related to loan management and financial performance.
• Analyse existing workflows, identify optimisation opportunities and support automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with IT and other stakeholders to gather requirements, test new functionalities and implement system updates.
• Ensure the accuracy, integrity and security of loan and treasury data.
• Provide timely data insights and reports to the loan, treasury and financial controlling teams.
• Assist with research on international financial institutions’ practices and support IT‑related projects.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or early‑career professional with interest in finance and treasury operations.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with large datasets and translate data into clear narratives.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with business users and IT specialists.
