Junior IT Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Junior IT Specialist to join our global QA team at DSV, a leading transport and logistics provider. The role focuses on designing, executing and maintaining acceptance test activities to ensure high‑quality software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop test strategy and acceptance test plans.
• Design manual test cases based on business requirements.
• Execute test cases and scripts in the test environment.
• Raise and track defects in the bug‑tracking system from open to close.
• Collaborate with global QA teams to ensure software quality.
• Present test results in English to stakeholders.
• Provide testing and test‑tool training to QA staff.
• Maintain documentation, central test‑case repository and ensure knowledge is up‑to‑date.

Required profile

• Minimum IT college degree or equivalent with 2‑4 years of IT QA experience.
• Willingness to learn, strong commitment to quality and ability to handle complexity.
• Good self‑organization, planning and time‑management skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work in a multicultural project team.

Required skills

• Basic database knowledge.
• Familiarity with QA tools, bug‑tracking systems, test design and execution.
• Knowledge of unit, integration, regression, UI and end‑to‑end automated testing methods.
• Experience with mobile API testing, Android testing and agile testing.
• Ability to develop and execute manual and automated test scripts.
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification (preferred).
