ITM and Connectivity Expert

About the role

The ITM and Connectivity Expert will lead IT security and connectivity initiatives within Bosch Powertrain Systems' manufacturing site in Wuxi. This role supports digital transformation, Industry 4.0 projects and the implementation of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to improve product industrialisation and time‑to‑market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the IT in Manufacturing (ITM) concept, defining infrastructure, devices, network, servers and databases.
• Coordinate hardware maintenance and act as the liaison between the plant and Bosch Digital.
• Ensure IT devices in the manufacturing area comply with security regulations and perform regular security checks.
• Lead MES and Industry 4.0 application roll‑outs, integrating them with business processes and ensuring system stability.
• Provide operational support and continuous improvement for digital manufacturing tools.
• Drive alignment with the Powertrain Systems MES strategy and support overall digital transformation goals.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing IT, focusing on system development, deployment and operation.
• Proven project management experience in large‑scale industrial IT projects.
• Strong understanding of IT security, network infrastructure and data integration for Industry 4.0.
