Senior Software Architect – HVAC Control Systems

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Architect to lead the definition and unification of control software architecture for air‑conditioning, refrigeration and chiller equipment and their controllers. The role will also establish maintenance and operation rules for the new architecture and drive model‑based development initiatives across related departments.

Key responsibilities

• Define and unify control software architecture for HVAC, refrigeration and chiller systems.
• Establish maintenance and operation rules for the architecture.
• Lead model‑based development (MBD) initiatives and align them with the new architecture.
• Coordinate roadmap and application planning with product management.
• Standardize processes and design for MBD and the new architecture.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in embedded software and control systems development, with a strong background in software architecture design.
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronics or information engineering and at least 10 years of practical embedded software experience.
• Proven ability to work in multicultural, multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Model‑based development using MATLAB/Simulink.
• Embedded software development and control systems.
• Software architecture design, refactoring and platforming.
• Familiarity with DevOps and Agile methodologies.
