IT Client Support Engineer

About the role

The IT Client Support Engineer provides first‑line technical assistance for hardware, software and basic network issues across the organization. The role works in rotating shifts, collaborating with network engineers and supporting a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Help‑desk support (≈60%): troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners and related software; manage user accounts in Active Directory and OKTA.
• Basic network support (≈20%): assist network engineers with routine connectivity tasks.
• IT asset management and tooling (≈10%): install and configure SCCM, CS‑EDR, Windows operating systems, and maintain hardware inventory.
• Administrative duties (≈5%): ensure accurate departmental records, follow safety and compliance policies.
• Special projects (≈5%): support ad‑hoc initiatives, report progress and propose improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• At least 2 years of help‑desk experience, preferably in a large network environment.
• Familiarity with Windows OS, Active Directory, OKTA and basic PC hardware.
• Understanding of basic networking concepts and experience with service‑desk tools.
• Strong problem‑analysis abilities and good interpersonal communication.
