About the role

We are looking for a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to lead and support a wide range of infrastructure projects and daily operations. The role involves planning, implementing, and maintaining server, storage, virtualization, and operating system environments while ensuring high availability and security.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in and lead IT infrastructure projects, including planning, migration, implementation, and post‑deployment support.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts (e.g., PowerShell) to streamline system administration, deployment, monitoring, and routine maintenance.
• Standardize configurations and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce operational risk.
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement new technologies to enhance reliability, scalability, and security.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, SOPs, and disaster‑recovery plans.
• Collaborate with Global IT teams on initiatives, technology rollouts, and continuous‑improvement programs.
• Manage daily data‑center operations, ensuring high availability and optimal performance of production systems.
• Administer core services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, and SFTP.
• Monitor and maintain the CommVault backup environment and perform disaster‑recovery testing.
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers, applying security updates and patches.

Required profile

• Proven experience in large‑scale IT infrastructure engineering or operations.
• Strong background in server, storage, and virtualization technologies.
• Experience with global IT governance, change management, and security compliance.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across geographically distributed teams.
