Industrialization Project Manager – Manufacturing

About the role

As an Industrialization Project Manager at Bosch Group in Suzhou, you will lead the transition of new products from prototype to mass production. You will act as the critical bridge between R&D/Engineering and Manufacturing/Operations, ensuring reliable, on‑time, and cost‑effective production that meets quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own the master industrialization plan, defining timelines, milestones, and critical paths.
• Identify and mitigate technical, supply‑chain, quality, and budget risks.
• Coordinate resources across departments, securing personnel, equipment, and facility space.
• Design for Manufacturability (DFM/DFA) collaboration with design engineers.
• Define, document, and validate the complete manufacturing process from raw material intake to final packaging.
• Specify, procure, install, and qualify tooling and equipment (IQ/OQ/PQ).
• Plan and execute pilot and pre‑production runs, validate processes, and oversee production ramp‑up.
• Maintain comprehensive manufacturing documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and process control plans.
• Serve as the central liaison for cross‑functional teams, facilitating meetings, decisions, and stakeholder communication.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading industrialization projects from prototype to full‑scale production.
• Strong background in DFM/DFA, process definition, and equipment qualification.
• Ability to manage risks, resources, budgets, and cross‑functional collaboration.
