Head of Retail

About the role

Snap Inc is seeking a senior leader to own and grow its Retail business in China. The Head of Retail will define strategy, drive revenue, and build long‑term partnerships with the country’s largest retailers and commerce platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Own overall Retail vertical in China, accountable for revenue growth, client success and market expansion.
• Define and execute the Retail strategy, including market prioritisation, growth initiatives and investment recommendations.
• Lead full‑funnel business planning across multiple clients, shaping goals and overseeing execution.
• Build and maintain executive‑level relationships with VP‑ and C‑suite stakeholders.
• Manage and develop a multi‑disciplinary team, setting expectations and coaching talent.
• Represent Snap at industry events and executive forums to strengthen its position in China’s retail ecosystem.

Required profile

• 12+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years leading high‑performing sales organisations.
• Proven track record of owning complex revenue businesses and delivering multi‑client growth.
• Deep understanding of China’s retail, e‑commerce and omnichannel advertising ecosystem.
• Experience managing managers and developing senior talent.
• Strong business judgment, strategic thinking and ability to solve ambiguous problems.

• Financial acumen to interpret performance indicators and guide investment decisions.
• Excellent communication and cross‑functional leadership abilities.
