GL Accountant

About the role

Ensure all accounting and reporting works of the Company are performed accurately and on time. Coordinate with external and internal auditors to guarantee full compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts within the area of responsibility.
• Maintain accurate accounting in line with accounting principles and reporting schedules.
• Lead the monthly accounting closure for the GL ledger and ensure timely local and group reporting submissions.
• Prepare monthly general accrual, amortization and provision entries based on business requirements.
• Maintain balance‑sheet account reconciliations and details to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Handle all tax declarations and government reporting submissions, such as monthly VAT, annual CIT filing, and other statutory filings.
• Assist external auditors during statutory audits and ensure full compliance.
• Arrange fixed‑assets and inventory physical counting and collaborate with Group Finance and Controlling teams.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Business Intelligence tools.
• Familiarity with Dynamics 365.
• Knowledge of PRC GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
