Plant Controller – Manufacturing Finance Leader

About the role

The Plant Controller leads the finance function for a manufacturing facility, partnering with plant leadership to drive profitability, productivity and continuous improvement. This senior position oversees cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, inventory controls and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the finance team and serve as a key member of plant management.
• Close monthly books, analyze results and publish period financial reports.
• Manage product costing, fixed‑asset accounting, inventory valuation and revenue recognition.
• Drive process improvements and identify cost‑reduction opportunities.
• Evaluate capital investment proposals using NPV, IRR, payback and sensitivity analyses.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with US & PRC GAAP, Sarbanes‑Oxley and tax regulations.

Required profile

• 10+ years of manufacturing finance experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong background in cost accounting, inventory accounting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
