Assistant Finance Business Partner

About the role

The Assistant Finance Business Partner supports the finance function in Shanghai by preparing management reports, assisting month‑end close, and providing analysis for business decisions. This role works closely with business owners to ensure data quality and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare recurring management reports covering OIT, sales, margin, and sell‑ex.
• Support month‑end close activities, including accrual preparation, cost allocation checks, variance investigation, and follow‑up on open items.
• Assist monthly outlook and annual operating plan cycles by collecting inputs, consolidating templates, checking data consistency, and preparing explanatory bridges.
• Build and maintain analyses on market share, product mix, warranty and service cost trends, and investment spend, translating results into clear commentary.
• Answer routine data requests from stakeholders and prepare materials for business review meetings.
• Apply financial policies and internal controls, flag data inconsistencies early, and help improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline.
• 0–3 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, audit, or a related field.
• Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and Microsoft Office skills.
• Proactive, solution‑driven, ambitious and flexible.
• Understanding of accounting principles and finance compliance requirements.

Required skills

• Experience with SAP or a comparable ERP system.
• Familiarity with planning or consolidation tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
