General Practitioner

About the role

The General Practitioner provides comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages, delivering diagnosis, treatment, and preventive services in a clinical setting. This role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high‑quality health outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Prescribe and administer medication, therapy, vaccinations, and other specialized treatments.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests; analyze records and examination data to determine patient conditions.
• Collect, record, and maintain detailed patient information, including medical history and examination results.
• Monitor patients' conditions and progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
• Explain procedures, test results, and prescribed treatments to patients and their families.
• Provide advice on diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention.
• Refer patients to specialists or other healthcare providers when appropriate.
• Coordinate care with nurses, social workers, therapists, pharmacists, psychologists, and other professionals.
• Perform surgical procedures to remove, repair, or improve diseased or injured body parts.
• Prepare reports on birth, death, disease statistics, workforce evaluations, or individual medical status.

Required profile

• Bachelor degree or higher in Medicine.
• Current, active medical license.
• Minimum three years of post‑residency clinical experience.
• Strong command of English and/or Mandarin; additional languages are a plus.
• Flexibility to work various clinic locations and shifts, including extended day, weekend, or night hours.
• Experience in emergency or neonatal care is advantageous.
• Ability to thrive in a multicultural, multidisciplinary environment.
