Game LQA Tester – Simplified to Traditional Chinese (Taiwan)

About the role
This freelance position focuses on Language Quality Assurance (LQA) for a game, converting in‑game content from Simplified Chinese to Traditional Chinese (Taiwan). The work is on‑site in Beijing for roughly two months, following core business hours, Monday to Friday.
Key responsibilities
- Provide LQA testing and proofread in‑game text, UI, dialogue scripts, and other localized assets.
- Identify, document, and report translation errors, contextual misuse, display anomalies, and formatting problems.
- Validate overall linguistic quality and naturalness to ensure the content reads fluently for the target audience.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure issues are resolved promptly.
Required profile
- Native‑level proficiency in Traditional Chinese (Taiwan) and fluent Mandarin.
- At least 2 years of experience in game localization or LQA for the specified language pair.
- Familiarity with localization tools or CMS and strong attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, teamwork orientation, and a passion for gaming.
