Faculty Positions in Managerial Accounting

About the role

The China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) is seeking scholars to join its Department of Finance and Accounting as faculty members in Managerial Accounting. Successful candidates will engage in high‑quality research, contribute to the school’s intellectual community, and teach MBA or executive‑level courses.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a rigorous, sustained research agenda in managerial accounting.
• Publish in leading academic journals and present findings at international conferences.
• Teach undergraduate, MBA, and executive courses, with a focus on managerial accounting topics.
• Participate actively in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and academic service.
• Mentor graduate students and junior faculty members.

Required profile

• PhD in Accounting (or a closely related field) from a recognized doctoral program.
• For Associate/Full Professor roles: proven record of exceptional scholarship and teaching excellence.
• For Assistant Professor roles: strong potential for high‑impact publications and a clear commitment to teaching.
• Demonstrated ability to teach executive and MBA students is highly valued.
