Expert Electrical Engineer - Personal Workspace

About the role

Logitech's Personal Workspace (PWS) division, which covers tech devices and apps for the personal workspace, is hiring an Expert Electrical Engineer in its China team (C4C) in Suzhou. You will act as an EE expert and system engineer, exploring hardware technology, delivering new technological building blocks and driving the C4C electrical engineering roadmap. The role reports to the EE leader of China.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess new concepts and technologies, and identify and develop a techno roadmap to improve products
• Work with business groups to gather requirements and develop techno bricks for new products
• Provide well-synthesized documentation and propose capabilities
• Collaborate with Chinese partners and suppliers to develop and commercialize new technologies
• Apply system engineering skills and work with a cross-functional team, especially embedded software, connectivity and mechanical engineering
• Engage with colleagues in a multi-site, multicultural environment (Switzerland, Taiwan)

Required profile

• Electrical engineering background with 8 years or more of EE design experience
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline
• Fluent English, written and spoken
• Curiosity about new technology and the ability to synthesize and propose
