EL Technical & Design Promotion Specialist

About the role

ABB is looking for an EL Technical & Design Promotion Specialist in Chengdu, reporting to the EL Technical & Design Promotion Manager. The role plans and implements proactive promotional activities for a defined target audience to create market demand for specific features or products, while identifying and developing sales opportunities through presentations and education on ABB products and tools.

Key responsibilities

• Sell products, systems and services to customers and achieve business targets for the assigned Business Units and Product Groups
• Build and maintain customer relationships, understand customer needs and present the full product offering so that customers receive a positive experience
• Identify and drive new market opportunities in the designated market, including digital sales opportunities and digital solutions
• Manage administrative procedures in sales processes and support collection and project management activities when needed

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree, major in science or engineering (electrical automation major preferred)
• At least 5 years of sales experience in related industries
• Digital capability and know-how, and experience and knowledge of digitalization (automation) projects
• Strong learning ability, customer orientation, strong sense of responsibility and personal integrity
• Result-driven, with strong interpersonal and communication skills and teamwork
