Early Childhood Classroom Teacher

About the role

Concordia International School Shanghai seeks passionate Early Childhood Classroom Teachers to join its Homeroom team. Candidates will work with young learners in a collaborative, faith‑based environment, delivering research‑based pedagogy for Preschool, Pre‑Kindergarten, and Kindergarten classes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and prepare engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with early childhood standards.
• Manage classroom routines and create a safe, supportive learning environment.
• Deliver instruction using differentiated learning techniques and varied assessments.
• Collaborate with grade‑level teams and division colleagues to ensure cohesive curriculum delivery.
• Participate in professional responsibilities, including continuous learning and contribution to school initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject area and appropriate teaching certification.
• Minimum two years of successful teaching experience in a school setting.
• Desire to work in an international school following the American educational system.
• Experience or willingness to train in Reading & Writing Workshop and Bridges Math curriculum for Kindergarten.
• Commitment to the Christian faith and ability to work within a faith‑based community.
