About the role
Mastercard is seeking a Director to lead specialist sales and new payment flow initiatives for its SME segment in Greater China. Based in Shanghai, the role partners with fintechs, payment service providers and financial institutions to expand Mastercard’s portfolio of virtual cards, prepaid, debit and credit solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with leading fintech partners across the Greater China region.
- Drive strategic partnerships and deliver compelling payment solutions that support partner growth.
- Lead portfolio growth for SME virtual cards (VCN), prepaid, debit and credit products, meeting targets for new wins, spend volume, revenue and market share.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with account teams, digital, service, marketing, finance, legal and customer delivery to launch and promote payment programs.
- Provide consultative sales leadership and deep expertise during complex, multi‑department discussions.
Required profile
- Director‑level experience in SME payment solutions or fintech sales.
- Proven track record of driving revenue, market share and portfolio growth.
- Experience working with fintech, payment service providers and financial institutions in Greater China.
- Strong ability to build and nurture strategic partner relationships.
