Director of Learning & Leadership – China

About the role

The Director, Learning & Leadership will shape and deliver learning programs for lululemon’s retail and Store Support Center teams across China. Based in Shanghai, the role partners with senior HR and retail leaders to align learning strategy with rapid business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the VP of People & Culture, HR Business Partners, and Retail Leaders to design and implement learning strategies that address key business priorities.
• Adapt and localize global L&D resources for the China market, ensuring relevance and impact.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of learning professionals to create localized curricula for functional expertise and leadership growth.
• Support diversity & inclusion initiatives and uphold global standards within localized programs.
• Oversee design, facilitation, and delivery of core learning programs, ensuring they are on time, on budget, and meet quality standards.
• Establish metrics to measure learning effectiveness and provide actionable insights to senior leaders.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, offering thought leadership on talent development and organizational learning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Learning & Development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven ability to design and implement strategic learning initiatives in a complex organization.
