Cross Plant Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

This position serves as the central on‑site representative for all Airbus manufacturing plants at the Final Assembly Line (FAL) in Tianjin. You will bridge the gap between multiple production sites and the assembly line, ensuring timely execution of Outstanding Work (OSW) and Non‑Conformity (NC) reworks to support on‑time, high‑quality aircraft delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary on‑site liaison for all Airbus MCA plants at the FAL.
• Escalate blocking issues to Head Office XP Manufacturing Engineering and relevant stakeholders.
• Manage Outstanding Work (OSW) and ensure proper execution of plant work orders.
• Analyze drawings, tooling, competency qualifications, and parts ordering information for seamless section handover.
• Provide immediate technical disposition for NC/ALB/QLB occurrences and support critical‑path constraints such as junction, power‑on, hydraulic release, and fuel tests.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to investigate and close technical issues.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives, SQCDP meetings, and internal projects.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and promote a culture of learning.

Required profile

• Aeronautics engineering degree or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in the aviation industry, preferably in multi‑functional team environments.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
