Communities & Connects Manager – Operations

About the role

The Communities & Connects Manager (CCM) will lead the operational execution of Square and Connects programmes within the Operations Office. Reporting to the Operations Lead, the CCM is responsible for configuring platforms, managing participants and incentives, overseeing fieldwork, and ensuring quality across all research activities.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and configure the Square/SQS platform, including workflow logic, client portal, integrations, and technical deployment.
• Run QL/QN programming, testing, troubleshooting and ensure timely delivery of research activities.
• Manage participant recruitment, onboarding, segmentation and quality control for Square and Connects programmes.
• Oversee day‑to‑day fieldwork operations, monitor participation targets and sampling plans.
• Prepare, upload and administer incentive lists, reward distribution and winner communications.
• Coordinate participant communications through approved support channels and ticketing systems, escalating systemic issues.
• Work with external vendors to ensure compliant and high‑quality recruitment.
• Implement best practices for community operations, monitor incentive strategies, and conduct quality control checks on survey performance.
• Provide reporting on engagement, fieldwork performance and platform operations, and drive continuous improvement of participant experience.

Required profile

• Full‑time, permanent position based in Shanghai.
