Cargo Supervisor (Guangzhou)

About the role

The Cargo Supervisor will lead a team of agents at Guangzhou airport, coordinating with maintenance and guest services to ensure smooth and efficient cargo operations. This role is pivotal in maintaining compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise airport resources and equipment utilization to meet operational timelines and safety procedures.
• Coordinate and control handling and network operations, ensuring adherence to regulations and safety standards.
• Provide clear operating instructions to the team for timely execution of activities.
• Monitor timeliness and accuracy of operations against KPIs and internal/external regulations.
• Oversee Etihad Airways and other airlines' turnaround operations to improve on‑time performance at the hub.
• Manage extraordinary loading operations, ensuring compliance with carrier procedures.
• Conduct briefing and de‑briefing sessions to identify improvement areas.

Required profile

• Preferably a degree‑level education.
• Minimum of 4 years experience in airline, cargo, or ground handling operations.
