Buyer – Supply Chain Analyst

About the role

The Buyer will support the company's operations by procuring goods and services, acting as the liaison between internal teams, suppliers and external customers. This position is based in Suzhou and operates within established supply‑chain standards.

Key responsibilities

• Procure parts, supplies and services for new and existing products, as well as non‑production items.
• Manage the end‑to‑end purchase process, from reviewing requisitions and vendor bids to initiating contracts.
• Coordinate MRP‑driven purchases, monitor forecast accuracy and update standard costs.
• Ensure on‑time delivery, control purchase price variance and maintain inventory levels.
• Resolve supply‑chain issues such as shortages, allocations, and discrepant material.
• Maintain supplier relationships, evaluate performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Develop and document audit procedures to ensure compliance with corporate policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement or purchasing within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work independently, make judgment calls on recurring assignments and refer complex situations to management.
• Strong analytical skills to investigate variances and implement corrective actions.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with internal customers, suppliers and external partners.
