Supply Chain Director

About the role

Philips is seeking a senior leader to head its supply chain planning function at the business‑group level in Suzhou. The role focuses on aligning sales forecasts with operational plans, driving strategic growth, and ensuring efficient resource utilization across the global supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Leads a large supply chain planning team at business‑group level, aligning sales forecasts with operational plans to optimize resource utilization and customer service.
• Formulates strategic directions, analyzes market trends, and collaborates cross‑functionally to develop comprehensive plans that drive sustainable growth.
• Develops and oversees the budgeting process for the supply chain function, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and accurate expense forecasting.
• Leads product lifecycle management, ensuring timely replenishment master data and accurate shelf‑life information.
• Coordinates demand and supply to optimize global product availability and maintain operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Economics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Data Analysis, Business Analytics or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of experience (or 6 years with a Master’s) in demand planning, supply chain management, project management or related fields.
