Backend Software Engineer - Flight

About the role

We are looking for a Backend Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain high‑performance backend systems for flight‑related services. You will work on APIs, data integrations, and scalable architectures while ensuring reliability and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Improve and optimize existing systems for performance and reliability.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and respond proactively to alerts.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑impact solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure software quality.
• Participate in architectural discussions and propose innovative solutions for high‑traffic environments.
• Contribute to post‑mortem analyses and continuously improve system resilience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in backend software engineering.
• Strong ownership mindset and accountability for product quality.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Eagerness to continuously learn new technologies and product domains.
