Automotive Cybersecurity Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Automotive Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team in Tianjin. You will be responsible for protecting vehicle electronic and software systems against emerging cyber threats, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and supporting both prototype and series‑production security solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze electrical/electronic (E/E) and ECU architectures to identify threats and perform risk assessments.
• Develop innovative cybersecurity concepts and functions for vehicle systems in line with current standards and threat landscapes.
• Derive detailed requirements for implementing security concepts across vehicle platforms.
• Propose and validate security solutions for connected systems in prototypes and series production.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mathematics, Physics or a related field.
• Several years of professional experience in the automotive industry with solid knowledge of automotive hardware, software and communication technologies.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity methods, threat analysis and risk management.
• Good English communication skills.

Required skills

• Threat analysis and risk assessment.
• Knowledge of automotive cybersecurity standards: SAE J3061, ISO/SAE 21434, ISO 27001.
• Encryption technologies.
• Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS).
• Familiarity with E/E and ECU architectures.
• Experience with automotive hardware, software and communication stacks.
