Automation Engineer – Equipment Maintenance

About the role

The Automation Engineer will ensure that industrial machinery and equipment operate smoothly and reliably by leading electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, performing repairs, and supporting equipment rebuilds.

Key responsibilities

• Lead electrical or mechanical troubleshooting on non‑functioning electro‑mechanical equipment used in manufacturing.
• Dismantle, adjust, repair, and re‑assemble equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, manuals or sketches.
• Use test and diagnostic equipment to perform equipment check‑outs.
• Lead rebuilds of manufacturing equipment and execute modifications as directed by manufacturing engineers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Team player able to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple competing tasks.
• Strong communication, organization, planning and time‑management abilities.
• High ethical standards, integrity and self‑accountability.
• Effective interpersonal and collaboration skills across all organizational levels.
