Associate Marketing Manager – Author Marketing (Greater China)

About the role

Springer Nature is seeking a China‑focused marketer to plan and execute digital campaigns that connect researchers with its journals and drive submission growth. The role blends hands‑on campaign execution with strategic planning and market insight, working closely with global and local teams to adapt the global strategy for the Chinese market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement tactical marketing plans for new‑launch, priority, and strategic journals in China.
• Deliver multi‑channel digital campaigns across search, social media, and third‑party platforms, tailoring content for local audiences.
• Monitor performance data, use audience segmentation and competitor insights to optimise campaigns.
• Collaborate with Marketing Strategy, Planning, Operations, Data, publishing and editorial teams to manage timelines, priorities and reporting.
• Support the creation of scalable marketing processes and best‑practice workflows for the China market.

Required profile

• Proven experience in digital marketing across multiple channels, especially search, social media and third‑party platforms.
• Hands‑on track record of delivering and optimising campaigns in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong understanding of the Chinese digital ecosystem and audience behaviour.
