Account Director – Tech PR (Beijing)

About the role

We are seeking a senior Account Director to lead and grow our technology client portfolio in China. The role combines strategic PR leadership, new‑business development and team mentorship for high‑impact tech brands.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated PR plans that align with product roadmaps, market launches and business objectives for semiconductor, AI and other tech clients.
• Drive new‑business opportunities by identifying prospects, crafting proposals and pitching to senior decision‑makers in the tech sector.
• Manage strategic account delivery across traditional, digital and social channels, including media relations, crisis communications, analyst and influencer engagement.
• Lead, mentor and evaluate a team of PR professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and ethical conduct.
• Maintain a deep network of Chinese tech media, KOLs, analysts and stay current on regulatory and market trends that affect client communications.

Required profile

• Extensive PR/communications experience within China’s technology industry, with a proven record of delivering successful campaigns for tech brands.
• Strong client‑facing skills, able to build trusted relationships with C‑suite executives and senior marketing leaders.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high‑performing teams in a fast‑paced environment.
• Deep understanding of the Chinese tech media landscape, regulatory environment and cultural nuances.
