Assistant Officer – Telemarketing Personal Loan Sales

About the role

The Assistant Officer will join the Consumer Banking Group to drive sales of personal loans, credit cards and other unsecured products through outbound telemarketing. You will engage prospective customers, provide tailored information and help them choose the right financial solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound telemarketing calls to promote and sell consumer banking products.
• Deliver excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
• Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets by converting leads.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales strategies.
• Stay updated on product offerings, policies and procedures.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in telemarketing or sales, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to engage and persuade customers.
• Effective problem‑solving and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
