Assistant Director of Sales

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Director of Sales to lead our sales team at JEN Shenzhen Qianhai, a Shangri‑La hotel located in the heart of the Qianhai Free Trade Zone. This senior sales position focuses on driving revenue, shaping strategy, and representing the hotel to regional partners.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement sales strategies to maximise hotel revenue.
• Participate in business reviews and the annual budgeting process.
• Present hotel performance to senior leadership and regional sales teams on a monthly basis.
• Lead, motivate and develop the sales team while maintaining high service standards.
• Ensure compliance with corporate standards across all sales activities.
• Oversee branding, revenue optimisation and the management of sales channels.

Required profile

• Passion for sales and marketing within the hospitality sector.
• Excellent presentation and communication abilities.
• Self‑driven, goal‑oriented and comfortable challenging the status quo.
• Strong professional ethics, integrity and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a similar role.
• Understanding of global market trends and the local environment.
• Fluent written and spoken English (and local language).
