Accountant (Record-To-Report, Fixed Asset)

About the role

The Fixed Asset Accountant will manage all aspects of fixed asset accounting, ensuring accurate capitalization, depreciation, and retirement of assets. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver timely financial results and continuously improve related processes.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain fixed asset master records and asset cards.
• Execute asset lifecycle transactions such as capitalization, transfers, retirements, and disposals.
• Prepare and analyse fixed‑asset reports, including 2000/3500, CapEx, depreciation analysis, and management listings.
• Support month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close activities: depreciation calculations, reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, statutory requirements and financial reporting standards.
• Partner with business stakeholders to resolve issues and provide accounting guidance.
• Identify and drive process‑improvement initiatives for fixed‑asset accounting.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of fixed‑asset accounting principles and processes.
• 3‑4 years of relevant fixed‑asset accounting experience (exceptional candidates may have less).
• Effective communication skills and a continuous‑improvement mindset.
• Basic English proficiency in listening, speaking, reading and writing.
