Senior Accountant

About the role

ETAP is seeking a Senior Accountant to support its China operations in Nanjing. The role will handle end‑to‑end accounting, tax compliance, cash‑flow management and financial reporting for the region.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare original vouchers, record accounting entries, process accounts and generate periodic financial reports.
• Conduct tax filing, payments, assist in tax audits and planning to ensure compliance.
• Manage cash flow, monitor liquidity, prepare cash budgets and utilization analysis.
• Oversee accounts receivable, issue payment reminders, and collaborate with regional sales managers to accelerate cash inflow.
• Review expense reimbursements for policy compliance, block out‑of‑budget items and provide cost‑saving recommendations.
• Consolidate China‑region financial data and produce monthly/quarterly reports for headquarters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of financial experience in a multinational environment.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Fluent English reading and writing; able to prepare reports in English.
• Excellent cross‑cultural communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with financial software such as UFida, Sage and HFM.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
