Accountant

About the role

Cadence is seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to join its finance team. You will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting treasury operations, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable bookkeeping.
• Verify staff reimbursements in line with company policy and accounting standards.
• Handle treasury tasks, including cash and bank transactions and bank reconciliations.
• Execute month‑end and quarter‑end closing processes to guarantee completeness and accuracy of financial information.
• Maintain internal filing systems and prepare external filings for banks, tax authorities, customs, and government agencies.
• Support policy compliance and assist in preparing SOX documentation for internal and external audits.
• Undertake ad‑hoc accounting and finance assignments as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Quick learner with a high attention to detail.
• Team player who is self‑motivated and committed to meeting results and deadlines.
