Senior Manager, Project Management

About the role

The Senior Manager, Project Management will lead cross‑functional teams to plan, execute, and deliver new product development projects for the China portfolio. The role balances portfolio oversight with hands‑on project leadership, ensuring strategic plans are implemented effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional project teams through strategy planning, execution, and delivery of new product development initiatives.
• Develop milestones, deliverables, and status reports for senior management, including risk management and change control.
• Ensure accurate project data entry, cost, schedule, and resource tracking in databases.
• Facilitate structured team meetings, resolve conflicts, and monitor team dynamics for optimal performance.
• Evaluate and improve project‑management processes, mentor associate PMs, and contribute to departmental initiatives.

Required profile

• BS/MS/Ph.D. with 5‑10 years of pharmaceutical/biotech experience, preferably CMC background.
• 5+ years of project management experience and relevant certification or training.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams, manage budgets, and align projects with corporate strategy.
• Strong communication, judgment, and situational leadership skills.
