Senior Account Partner - R&D

About the role

Veeva Systems is seeking a Senior Account Partner for its China R&D and Quality team, based in Shanghai (or Suzhou). The role focuses on establishing, managing, and growing relationships with China‑headquartered life‑science organizations for Vault Development Cloud solutions (Clinical, Quality, Regulatory, Safety).

Key responsibilities

• Identify and research target accounts to build a qualified prospect list.
• Develop pipeline through cold calling, email campaigns and market intelligence.
• Maintain a sales pipeline and exceed targets within the assigned sector.
• Lead end‑to‑end sales cycles, coordinating solution consultants, service teams and executives.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders across Business, IT and C‑level functions.
• Provide ongoing account management to expand business and ensure customer success.
• Gather customer feedback, assist clients in fully leveraging Veeva solutions, and develop reference customers.

Required profile

• 10+ years of enterprise software or service solution sales and account management, with a proven record of exceeding targets.
• Alternatively, 5+ years working with China‑local pharma/biotech in quality, clinical, regulatory or safety domains.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin, with strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Credibility at all organizational levels, including C‑suite.
• Willingness to travel domestically as needed.
