Job description
Elsevier’s iScience journal is seeking a dynamic Associate or Scientific Editor to manage the editorial process for this broad‑scope open‑access publication covering life and physical sciences. The role involves recruiting high‑impact research papers, assessing submissions, overseeing peer review, and building relationships with researchers and editorial board members. Candidates must hold a PhD in life or health sciences, preferably with a medical/health focus and a strong translational network. Prior editorial experience is not required, but experience leading a research group or working in industry is welcomed. The position demands excellent communication, critical thinking, and the ability to collaborate across Cell Press and external institutions.
