Product Planner – New Product Introduction

About the role

The Product Planner will drive the introduction and ramp‑up of new automotive products for Bosch in China, ensuring timely delivery and continuous improvement. You will work closely with global product teams, engineering, production and customers to guarantee quality and cost targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project and product timelines to ramp up new products on schedule.
• Apply Bosch’s automotive quality management system throughout development.
• Lead new projects in the Manufacturing Operations Engineering (MOE) function, coordinating China and global teams.
• Collaborate with engineering and production departments on design and manufacturing issues.
• Coordinate customer audits and ensure compliance.
• Set up and control schedules for tooling, materials, EWAK, QZ testing and hand‑over to SOP.
• Maintain ongoing product releases, handling engineering changes and customer requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost and quality.
• Support internal owners with engineering and industrial‑engineering follow‑up.
• Design production processes and material flow using industrial‑engineering principles.
• Track open issues and manage special tasks.
• Handle document management, PQP, service orders, QA and FMEA coordination.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial engineering or a related field.
• Experience in project management, new product introduction and mass production.
• Strong background in product planning and industrial engineering.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and lean production concepts.
