Multimedia Assistant

About the role

The Multimedia Assistant will support the UN Resident Coordinator Office (RCO) and the UN Communications Group (UNCG) in Beijing by creating high‑quality visual and video content that enhances the digital presence of the UN in China.

Key responsibilities

• Design visual assets for digital platforms, print materials, posters, reports and campaign collateral.
• Produce video outputs, including scripting, filming, editing and post‑production.
• Provide on‑site multimedia support for UNCG events and RCO activities.
• Develop integrated multimedia packages for inter‑agency communications, ensuring consistency across agencies.
• Maintain organized archives of communications materials and deliver assigned tasks on schedule.

Required profile

• Qualified graphic designer with experience in both print and digital media.
• Ability to work under the supervision of the Communications and Advocacy Officer and collaborate with multi‑agency teams.
• Strong attention to detail and capacity to meet tight deadlines.
• Available to work on‑site in Beijing for the contract period (20 Aug 2026 – 31 Dec 2026).
