Marketing Data & Performance Analyst

About the role

Mastercard’s Greater China Marketing team is looking for a Marketing Data & Performance Analyst to connect marketing activities with business outcomes. The role will provide visibility into campaign effectiveness, consumer engagement, transaction impact, and investment performance across consumer, issuer, product, and partner marketing initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain marketing performance dashboards and reporting frameworks.
• Measure and analyze campaign effectiveness, tracking KPIs such as consumer engagement, transaction behavior, spend uplift, and acquisition metrics.
• Prepare regular performance reports and executive summaries for internal stakeholders.
• Analyze marketing, customer, and transaction data to identify trends, opportunities, and optimization recommendations.
• Support the development of attribution, ROI, and effectiveness measurement methodologies.
• Partner with business, finance, data, and marketing teams to improve visibility into marketing performance and investment effectiveness.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Statistics, Economics, Marketing, Business Analytics, Data Science, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience in marketing analytics, business intelligence, performance measurement, market research, strategy consulting, or data analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to synthesize large datasets into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for translating complex analyses into clear recommendations.
• Self‑motivated, intellectually curious, and able to manage multiple priorities across cross‑functional teams.
