Modality Finance Director

About the role

The Modality Finance Director will develop innovative financial solutions that drive growth and manage risk across GE HealthCare’s imaging portfolio. This role interprets business challenges, translates financial trends into actionable recommendations, and stays abreast of industry developments that impact product strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Product Management to influence roadmap decisions, investment prioritisation and scenario modelling, providing lifecycle economics insight.
• Lead financial performance management for imaging modalities, delivering insights on revenue, cost, margin and variance versus budget.
• Own forecasting, budgeting and monthly close cycles for product‑level financials, preparing management review materials that highlight assumptions, risks and opportunities.
• Communicate complex financial concepts to cross‑functional teams and influence decisions with data‑driven insights.
• Build and develop a Product Finance team, establishing operating mechanisms, analytical rigor and a culture of accountability.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in FP&A, product or commercial finance within complex environments.
• Significant experience in finance and commercial finance management, comparable to a Master’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel modelling.
• Power BI for data visualisation.
