Audit Associate/Senior – Suzhou

About the role

Deloitte China is seeking an ambitious Audit Associate or Senior to join our Suzhou office. You will work with a diverse portfolio of multinational and listed companies, applying Deloitte’s risk‑based audit methodology to deliver high‑quality assurance services.

Key responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for small to medium‑sized audit engagements.
• Lead audit fieldwork, coordinate with client teams, and ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
• Occasionally perform accounting and taxation engagements as required.
• Build trust with stakeholders while maintaining independence and professional skepticism.
• Apply audit tools, guidance, and methodology to deliver efficient, cost‑effective solutions.
• Participate actively in risk assessment discussions and contribute to the development of audit strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline, preferably accounting or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CICPA, HKICPA or other CPA qualifications is desirable.
• Three to five years of audit experience in a CPA firm, preferably a Big 4.
• Accreditation as a Green & Sustainable Finance (GSF) professional is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, HK GAAP and IPO processes.
