Senior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Suzhou. The role will support local and regional finance operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and partner with various business functions in a dynamic multinational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations and support schedules; perform month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close activities.
• Analyze financial results, investigate variances and produce management reports for internal and external audits.
• Prepare and analyze Purchase Price Variance (PPV) reports, forecasts and collaborate with the Supply Chain team on cost drivers.
• Develop and maintain financial dashboards, automate reporting using Excel and Power Query.
• Maintain internal controls, ensure compliance with corporate policies, statutory, tax and audit requirements, and support finance transformation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a multinational manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of General Ledger and Cost Accounting, month‑end close and financial reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, financial modeling).
• Power Query for data transformation and reporting automation.
• Oracle ERP (highly preferred).
• General Ledger Accounting.
• Cost Accounting.
• Financial reporting and month‑end close.
