Application Specialist

About the role

As an Application Specialist at Dormer Pramet, you will be the technical bridge between our products and end‑customers across Shanghai, Jiangsu and Zhejiang. You will support customers, drive product adoption, and help grow market share in a fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑customer support aligned with Dormer Pramet’s strategic direction, identifying pain points and delivering tailored solutions.
• Develop product and application expertise of internal sales, technical teams and channel partners through training and coaching.
• Collaborate with the global product team to keep regional initiatives synchronized with the product roadmap.
• Lead or participate in new product testing with the segment service team to accelerate time‑to‑market.
• Collect and analyse competitor intelligence, turning insights into actionable recommendations for regional positioning.

Required profile

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Strong technical understanding and product knowledge.
• Self‑initiative, disciplined, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience managing channels or distributors and ability to travel domestically as needed.
