Negotiation Expert – Procurement & Training

About the role

The Negotiation Expert will support Bosch Group’s centralized procurement function by driving cost‑reduction initiatives, designing negotiation training programs and contributing to the development of digital negotiation tools. The role combines hands‑on negotiation support for multiple business units with the responsibility to build and maintain a community of negotiation experts.

Key responsibilities

• Support cost‑reduction projects and negotiations across purchasing organizations, sales, logistics and other functions.
• Organize and participate in NEXT (MAG) and Brown Bag (BIC) meetings to build the PEN‑Community.
• Develop and deliver negotiation training (SCA‑ADV01/02/03, NEG09) in classroom and online formats.
• Interview customers, co‑design workshop content and coordinate customized negotiation sessions.
• Contribute to the digital product NiboPro, supporting its development and ensuring it meets IBP requirements.
• Coordinate promotion and marketing of PEN services as project/event management tasks.

Required profile

• Master’s or doctoral degree in game theory, engineering, natural sciences, mathematics, business administration, economics or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial or technical purchasing, sales or negotiation, preferably with application of game theory.
• Proven project‑management experience (plus).
• Strong analytical and abstract thinking abilities.
• Innovative, self‑motivated, autonomous with a strategic mindset.
• Experience in training, moderation and teaching.
• Excellent internal and external communication and influencing skills.
• Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
